In my spare time, I love to paper craft, practice photography and do digital art.  I make cards,      anything but cards, an layouts.  I also create digitally as well as with paper.  I love making new blog friends and to leave comments on all the beautiful artwork out there! I am a proud member of the EtsyInpsired challenge under the lead of Ms. Ashley Nguyen Newell (the sweetest and cutest chica ever!) and enjoy being part of such a talented, fun group of designers!  I love to help organize events and sponsors and help out Ashley anyway I can.  Other design teams I have been on include AiFactory where I was the DT lead and challenge coordinator.

I transferred my legacy blog from Blogspot to WordPress in February 2010.  Please visit my legacy blog at stampin-de-va.blogspot.com.   I have a fascination for the moon and it’s magic… hence the name “bella luna” which means, “Beautiful Moon” in Italian. Italy is another fascination of mine.  I WILL go there one day.  I have been using bellaluna for my email address for a couple years now and I thought it was time to go that way with my blog too.  Sorda a “brand” for me. So there you have it!

Besides my love of papercrafts, I also make jewelry with beads, and try my hand at other craft projects – sewing, tile and scrabble necklaces, mosaics, and more!  I also design web pages and have done some blog graphics and template modifications.

I’m a home body that strives to get out more… but once a hermit, always a hermit! My friends say I hibernate… I guess that is true!  I’m addicted to the computer.    I spend 8 -10 hours a day on it at work and come home and spend a big part of the evening on it at home!  I can always find something productive and creative to do on it!  If there is an evening that goes by I’m not on the computer, you KNOW something is wrong with me!  I love eBay, Etsy and my new addiction is the Wii. 

I have two wonderful doggies that are like my children that I share with my ex.  Yes, we have joint custody of the dogs. LOL.  I have them a month and then his wife and he take them for a month.  LOL.

I work full-time as a Government contractor for the Navy as a Project Manager for logistics in Air Traffic Control support fleet activities for all Naval and Marine Corps air stations.  I’ve gotten to travel the US and a little abroad for my job and I’m thankful for that!
