This week’s shop is Melissa Kate! Melissa says “I love making colorful, useful stuff. I hand print all the cards in my shop from blocks hand carved by me. My
cards are printed on eco-friendly paper and come with 100% recycled
envelopes!”. Her items are unique, fun and one of a kind! Cards, paintings, photos, vintage items and more! AND eco-friendly?! Wow, gotta love that! So, my inspiration came from lots of places this week… first, I was inspired by these cards (pic on left) at Melissa’s shop… and for some reason it made me remember this card I {heart} from Tracy Schultz (who I {heart} as well) and than I was inspired by all of Tiff’s (who I double {heart}) awesome acetate cards so with all those inspirations, I created this card…
Deets: 5×5 Card… BG Lemonade DP, Shimmerz Key Lime (on the green lantern), Color Box Chalk Ink (Lime & Wisteria) and Color Box Pigment Ink (Orange) {from Limelight Papercrafts}.
Hero Arts Sparkle Clear Arigato Stamp set and rhinestones, 1.5″ Silk Celery ribbon {from iheartpapers}, CTMH dimensionals, Martha Stewart eyelet punch, PTI white CS, acetate.

De Your card turned out really cute!!! I have never tried to make an acetate card before but they always look so cool!!! Great how you took inspiration from several places this week. I took it from two different places too!!!

Oh when I first saw the Blinkie on Ashleys blog I grabbed it and added it to my post but it showed up really small then I tried to add it to my side bar and it is insanely small not sure why???

Well isn't this darling!! Love that card and the little lanterns hanging down. The acetate was a fab touch.
